April 10, 6pm: Drawing from her book Configurations of Time, curator Angela Serino explores how residency time shapes artistic and lived experiences. Inspired by thinkers like Carlo Rovelli and María Puig de la Bellacasa, Serino introduces concepts like space-time, care-time, and soil-time, proposing a process-oriented, ethical approach to residencies. Connecting the book’s storytelling and firsthand insights with previous speakers’ presentations, Serino reflects on what residencies activate beyond the visible and quantifiable.
