Hosting Powers, International Conference

On 29 May I took part in Hosting Powers, a two-day conference organised by STARE, the Italian association of Artist In Residences, at KORA – Centro del contemporaneo in Castrignano de’ Greci (Lecce), on the role and impact of artist residencies as “ models and practices of research, listening, and experimentation in the territories.” (Full programme).

I gave a presentation about my practice, and later moderated the round table “Definition and Identity of Artist Residencies”, in conversation with curator and researcher Irmeli Kokko.

A publication gathering the outcomes of the conference will follow in the coming months.

With thanks to the Embassy and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for supporting my participation.
