"Ventiquattroreunlavoro" is a formula to talk about labour: ours – the artistic, cultural one, defined as intangible and immaterial, very often simply uninterrupted – and what work is or has been for other people, both inside and outside the art and cultural sectors.

Each gathering comprises two parts:

24HR = twenty-four hours
1W = one (piece of) work

24HR: Twenty-four hours of daily life are those of the guest of the evening. Using images, texts or any other material, the guest is invited to talk about his/her workday in the style that he finds most congenial and appropriate.

1W: is one work, such as an artists’ video, a movie, a piece of a novel, or content of any form that tells real or fictional stories of other workers. This work can also describe the situations of employees outside the creative sector, and refer to a different time period other than our contemporary years.

"Ventiquattroreunlavoro" took the form of irregular gatherings in the living room of my house. It hosted: “At the daybreak of a new day”, a tale by curator Francesco Bernardelli, WERKER MAGAZINE, a publication about photography and labour initiated by Marc Roig Blesa and Rogier Delfos (27.05.2012), Internship in Private, a film by Saskia Holmkvist (2007) and 24HR by curator Corrado Salzano.

There is intentionally no documentation of such gatherings, except the invitations.
